The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the high quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office focused on service the area daily. The company issue produced for intervention experiences a higher influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sassa methods to empower the servicing of all buyers and enhance access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
